Plainfield Presents
The Plainfield Township Presents… program continues to be a great success. There have been programs offered in the past that span the gamut of planning for college and controlling your cholesterol, to assisting loved ones with Alzheimer’s and learning about internet predators. The vast majority of the programs offered are absolutely FREE OF CHARGE and attendance is very high. Township residents have really come out in support of these programs. If there is a particular topic that you would like to see offered at the township please contact the PTP coordinator, Ken McCafferty. We are currently searching out individuals or organizations who can offer complimentary vision screenings, gardening seminars and programs discussing financial planning. Below is the current calendar of events:
June 14th Lifeline Screenings
Highly skilled technologists conduct painless, non-invasive, ultrasound screenings, partial ECG screenings and the finger-stick blood test screenings. There will be special package pricing for a Complete Wellness Package which includes a stroke/carotid artery, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral arterial disease, and osteoporosis screenings. This program is brought back this year to its popular demand! Registration is mandatory. Call the township office for details.
